With the goal of setting up a quick internal website in a Wiki-style, I started looking for solutions within the G Suite environment. The new Google Sites feature looks good and integrates well with Google Drive which potentially reduces redundancy since some information are in other Drive files etc.
However, in the current July 2017 release, the new Google Sites pages cannot be limited to G Suite groups. While the edit permissions are implemented as usual, the publication options are public (to everybody) or within the entire G Suite organization, which is in our case too much.
The G Suite blog mentions the implementation of further publication options and group-specific sharing by the end of this year. Well, actually the migration from old Sites to new Sites should be available in Q4 2017, which requires the restriction of published sites to groups.
